Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is set in a stunning property, with generously sized and elegantly appointed rooms dotted around the hills near the lakes. A pleasant short walk through the gardens leads to the rooms, but buggies are available for assistance. However, the rooms can feel quite cold without a heating system.
Staying at the villa Quercia was a mixed experience. The rooms were enormous but unclean and dated, not in the main building, and the distance to the breakfast restaurant was a hassle. The staff, however, were lovely and accommodating. The location was beautiful, overlooking Lake Como, but not very practical for easy movement around the property. The dining options were memorable but somewhat limited. Overall, a stay with highs and lows.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were exceptional, generously sized, and elegantly appointed with a modern twist, but the lack of a heating system made it quite chilly. The service was pleasant overall, but staff seemed somewhat uninformed about local happenings and the restaurant didn't quite meet expectations. The location was splendid, especially facing the lake, but had some limitations for exploration. The dining experience was friendly and accommodating, although the menu was limited. The facilities were modern and charming, with beautiful gardens and good WiFi connectivity.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms offered a stunning view and felt like a 5-star stay in terms of cleanliness but lacked space, better views, and amenities, which was a bit disappointing. The service was exceptional and the staff seemed knowledgeable and eager to please, enhancing my overall stay. The location was breathtaking, overlooking the lake, but there were some minor safety concerns that needed attention. The dining experience was a bit expensive and not impressive, though the breakfast options were varied and delicious.
